Current Openings:

 

Marketing & Promotions Manager  

• Manages all marketing, promoting, public relations and branding activities for MSP's business and projects

• Designs, develops and manages marketing collateral and campaigns from start to finish.

• Coordinates and executes effective public relations, advertising and promotional activities across various media formats (print, online, social).

• Plans and executes events to promote MSP’s productions and events.

• Leads the branding efforts to the organization on a corporate level.

• Establishes guidelines for all communications materials.

• Understands and articulates MSP’s message to local and national media through press releases and media relations campaigns.

Stage Manager

• Organizes and maintains rehearsal schedule and production schedules for theatrical productions.

• Oversees rehearsals and the entire show each time it is performed.

• Attends all rehearsals and performances, maintains order, phones absent cast members, and provides line cues when necessary.

• Ensures all actors and crew members are notified of rehearsal times, meeting, costume/wig fittings and coaching sessions.

• Ensures that set dimensions are marked for each rehearsal, set pieces and props are available for the actors during rehearsals.

• During rehearsals, records all blocking, plus all light, sound and set change cues, in a master copy of the script (i.e. Prompt Book).

• Coordinates the work of the stage crew.

• Calls all cues and possibly actors’ entrances during performances.

• Notifies Props Manager where props are to be positioned on the stage at the beginning of each scene and/or in the wings.
